The Design

The room combines a freestanding bath, walk-in shower, wall-hung toilet, and floating vanity. This layout keeps the floor space open while giving each feature its own presence. The black door (revealed after fitting) adds contrast against the light tiles, tying the room together.

The Tiling Work

The large format porcelain tiles run cleanly through the space, creating seamless lines and fewer grout joints. Every joint has been carefully aligned so the eye follows straight through the room without interruption.

Inside the shower, a recessed niche has been tiled with sharp mitred edges. This isn’t just practical for storage, it’s also a test of skill. A niche done wrong stands out for all the wrong reasons. A niche done right disappears into the wall, looking like it was designed as part of the tile layout from day one.
